What Is The Course About?

What Is The Course About?

The Ayurvedic Tongue Diagnosis Workshop provides learners with comprehensive knowledge of Jivha Pariksha – Ayurvedic Tongue Diagnosis.

What is Tongue Diagnosis?

In Ayurveda, the tongue is considered a powerful diagnostic tool for assessing systemic health. It offers a highly accurate insight into an individual's internal condition. Tongue analysis complements other diagnostic tools such as pulse, nail, and facial diagnosis, helping identify imbalances before symptoms manifest.

The tongue is the organ of taste and speech. Its size, shape, contour, surface, margins, and colour are all indicators of health. Each area of the tongue corresponds to specific internal organs. By identifying blemishes or abnormalities in these areas, an Ayurvedic practitioner can determine which organs may be out of balance.

What Are The Course Outcomes?

Tongue diagnosis is a foundational practice in Ayurvedic medicine, used both to evaluate a patient’s current health and to support accurate prognosis. It reveals insights into the patient’s constitution, vitality (Prana), blood condition, disease progression, heat and cold imbalances, and the depth of any disorder.

This workshop is valuable for both practitioners looking to integrate tongue diagnosis into their clinical practice and students new to Ayurveda. The course includes visual slide presentations featuring real clinical examples to support the theoretical learning.
