KIZHI CERTIFICATE

Our one-day workshop in Tongue Diagnosis will give the learner comprehensive knowledge of how to disgnose illness according to the presenting condition of the tongue. Known as Jivha Pariksha in Ayurveda, it is an important tool in determining health issues someone may be suffering with, even if the issue has not manifested.

With the use of expert Ayurvedic insight and key learning aids, the student will gain a good understanding of the differences in tongue presentation and be able to recognise tell-tale signs of illness or imbalance.

The course is conducted in a four-hour workshop and the learner will receive a Certificate of completion.

What Is The Course About?

What Is The Course About?

The Kizhi Certificate Course provides the learner with an expert practical and theoretical knowledge about the Ayurvedic treatment – Kizhi – Hot Herbal Bag Massage.

What is Kizhi?

Kizhi is a massage which uses small herbal boluses or pouches made of various herbs which are warmed in medicated oils and then used to massage the entire body or specific areas like the back, neck, shoulders, hands and joints.

The herbs used in the pouch have an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. When they are dipped in hot oil they open the channels of lymphatic nodes. Kizhi reduces inflammation, promotes better circulation, relieves pain and stiffness in joints and muscular spasms, improves mobility and flexibility, tones the skin, alleviates arthritic pain.
